Saia Introduces I-GO Florida Guaranteed Delivery
Saia is pleased to offer Florida less-than-truckload (LTL) shippers 100 percent guaranteed delivery to any point that is both picked-up and delivered in the state of Florida. Effective Monday, July 2nd, Saia is the only freight company in the state to offer this promotion for no additional charge for a limited time. Named I-GO, for Intrastate Guaranteed Offer, the new product offers guaranteed delivery from ten terminals strategically located around the state and in Alabama. Those terminal locations participating in the promotion include Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Miami, Ocala, Orlando, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Tampa and West Palm Beach, FL. Florida locations served by the Dothan, AL terminal also will be included. "This promotion was first introduced by Saia last year in Louisiana," said Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service Sally Buchholz, "and we have seen tremendous success. The process for customers to receive this special handling is very simple. All a customer has to do is write 'I-GO' anywhere in the body of their bill of lading and that shipment will receive guaranteed service according to our published terminal-to-terminal service standards.
