Saia Chosen Mark VII’s Regional LTL Carrier of the Year
Mark VII, an Excel Company, has chosen Saia as its Regional LTL Carrier of the Year for 2000. Saia was presented the award during ceremonies at Mark VII’s office in Scottsdale, AZ on May 18. Mark VII is a full service transportation and logistics management company providing non-asset based multi-modal transportation services and fully integrated systems with coverage in the US, Canada and Mexico. Kevin Potempa, director of Mark VII’s LTL Operations, presented the award to Saia Vice President of Sales Terry Ryan. Saia was graded by Mark VII’s operations offices on criteria in seven areas: Operating personnel, administration, information technology, equipment availability, on-time performance, cost and sales personnel. Also recognized during the ceremony was Saia National Account Executive Lauri Schiesz.
