Saia Moving To New Terminal Location In Tennessee
Saia will be operating from a new location on June 4th when the company relocates its terminal facility from Kingsport, TN to Blountville, TN, according to Saia President and CEO Rick O’Dell. "This new location will provide us with additional doors, more office space and better access to businesses in the tri-cities region of this area," said O’Dell. "We will now be about a mile from the airport and closer to Highway I-81." The actual move date will be Saturday, June 2, and Saia will be in full operations on Monday, June 4. The new address for Saia will be 873 Centenary Road, Blountville, TN 37617 and the new main office telephone number will be 423-354-0113. The terminal’s new fax number will be 423-354-0117. Terminal manager is Chad Garland. "We are excited about this move and the growth opportunities it provides us as we continue our focus on becoming the premier one and two day LTL service carrier in our coverage area," O’Dell added.
