Saia Accepted Into Chemistry Council's Responsible Care Partnership Program
Saia has been accepted by the American Chemistry Council (ACC) as a member of the Responsible Care® Partnership Program. As a Responsible Care Partner company, Saia joins more than 250 other companies who, through Responsible Care, will demonstrate a commitment to improve environmental, health and safety performance. As a partner, Saia makes a commitment to support a guiding set of principles designed to help the chemical industry and those who are involved with its products and processes, improve environmental quality. Phil Jennings, Saia director of process development and compliance, serves as the company's primary liaison with the ACC. Jennings will attend regular regional partner group meetings to discuss effective implementation of the ACC Responsible Care initiatives.
