Saia Redesigns Website; Adds Several New Features

Saia Motor Freight launched a redesigned website today, offering a new look, with several newly enhanced features.

”We now provide a number of services to our customers and to the public at large that were previously not available,” said Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service Sally Buchholz. “I would encourage our customers to go to the website at www.saia.com and take a look. I believe they will find it extremely useful.”

Buchholz said the site is, “easier to navigate – much more user friendly. While the design is more appealing than what we had, the best part about it is, that it has a lot of business value. We have some great tools for our customers.”

In addition to a new look the website offers a number of areas “just full of information,” Buchholz said. Those features compliment some existing segments.

For example: Under Saia Secure, customer specific information can be found including:

  • Imaged documents
  • Service reports
  • Customized reports
  • Rate quoter, and
  • Tracing.
Meanwhile, those shippers who don’t have passwords may obtain generic info about tracing, the rate quoter, bill of lading and Super Rater + areas. Saia’s service coverage is shown with terminal transit maps, and there’s help from Saia Direct, as well as partner and off shore information.

The menu across the top of the home page gives viewers choices to view a variety of information about the company about products, Information Services, What’s New, Career Information, Online Resources and Site Help.

“We are very excited about our redesigned website and would appreciate it if customers would tell us what they think,” said Buchholz. Under “Just Ask” customers may address their questions or comments to a number of different Saia departments.”
