Saia Motor Freight Introduces New Website Features
Saia Motor Freight has announced two new services on its website, offering customers the option of receiving secure rate quotes on-line based on individual pricing agreements. Customers also can link from their website directly to Saia’s tracking information. “These new features are additional enhancements that should assist our customers,” said Sally Buchholz, vice president of marketing and customer service. “With the new option to receive secure quotes on-line, all our customers have to do is sign on and enter the pertinent information. Within seconds, a secure quote is generated. Customers also will find the option to link to our tracing information a feature that will give them the ability to incorporate Saia’s tracing data by linking between the sites, she said. “We hope our customers will take advantage of these new on-line features, and let us know how handy these new conveniences are for them,” said Buchholz. “These new features are in addition to our bill of lading generation,” she added. Customers also will find several other recent enhancements including a list of our current Saia Customer Service Indicators, six performance measurements including on-time deliveries, on-time pick-ups, claims settled with 30 days, claims free shipments, POD turnaround and invoicing accuracy. Other website features include customized reports, service reports, special services information, POD fax requests and information on career opportunities. Within the next three to four months, Saia will upgrade its website in continued efforts to meet customer needs.
