Saia Builds New Houston Terminal
Saia, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIA) has re-located its Houston, Texas terminal to a newly built, company-owned, state-of-the-art facility situated on 37 acres. According to Saia representatives, a decision was made to construct the new facility to expand upon the Houston terminal's operations as the new site offers more room for the company's shipping and receiving business. The new terminal has 158 doors while the old site only offered 108. The terminal provides next day service to most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi along with all of Louisiana.
