Saia Expanding Operations in Orange County, CA
DULUTH, GA - August 1, 2005 - Saia, Inc. has announced today that the terminal in Orange County, California has moved to a larger facility due to growth in the region and the need for additional doors and square footage to service customers. The terminal opening gives the less-than-truckload carrier extended service opportunities in its vital western U.S. markets. The facility is a stand-alone, traditional freight building with 40 doors, equaling more than two times the size of the previous location's 17 doors, and additional square footage of terminal and office space. The new terminal will also include a full-service shop for equipment maintenance. Saia representatives say the new Orange County facility continues the company's growth and development strategy.
