Saia Names Terminal Managers in CA and OR
DULUTH, GA - Less-Than-Truckload carrier Saia has named Wayd Hawkins, a veteran employee, the new Sacramento, CA terminal manager. Jeff Moore has been promoted to terminal manager/sales representative in the company's Bend, OR facility. Hawkins has more than five years experience with Saia, serving most recently as terminal manager/sales representative of the Bend, OR terminal. Prior to joining Saia, he had eight years of service with the United States Marine Corps. A native of Portland, Hawkins and his wife, Tiffany, have a seven-year-old daughter, Emily and a three-year-old son, Easton. Jeff Moore began his career with Saia as a driver and was later promoted to supervisor in Bend. For his service and dedication to the company and his community, Jeff was honored with a 2004 Chairman's Award, the highest award the carrier bestows for his community service and company commitment. Jeff and his wife, Katrina, have three sons, Jordan, 16; Cody, 15; and Jesse, 13; and a daughter, Karissa, 12.
