Saia Announces Improved Transit Times
DULUTH, GA - Continuing to implement improvements to benefit customers, leading Less-Than-Truckload carrier Saia has announced a reduction in transit times from the Midwest to points across the Southeast. The changes will mean that Saia customers will receive a 1-day improvement in delivery time on freight moving from points served by the Kansas City terminal to the Carolinas and portions of Georgia. Improved transit times will positively affect those shipments originating from the Kansas City market destined to points served by terminals in Tallahassee, FL; Athens, Augusta, Savannah and Tifton GA; Charleston, Columbia and Florence SC; and Charlotte, Fayetteville, Hickory, Greensboro, Greenville and Raleigh, NC.
