Saia, Inc. Garners Ryder Carrier Quality Award
Leading less-than-truckload (LTL) company Saia, Inc. has been presented with the 2003 Ryder Transportation Management (RTM) Carrier Quality Award, given to top performing partner carriers. This is the second year Saia, Inc. received this prestigious award. The Carrier Quality Award recognizes transportation provider performance and delivery of superior client service and value. Selections are made based on a quantitative scoring system that includes on-time service, claims performance, customer service, technology, economic value and innovation. The annual RTM Carrier Quality Award for the Super Regional Service Category was announced to Saia, Inc. National Account Executive Mike Wolonsky in a letter from RTM General Manager of North American Procurement Tim Podvin and Manager of LTL and Ground Expedite Procurement Dave Thigpen.
