ITEM 754 Pickup or Delivery Service - Non Business Hours, Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays

  1. When consignor or consignee request carriers to pickup or deliver freight or to place or pickup empty trailer(s) on (Vehicles without power units) Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or non business hours (See Note A), such service will be subject to a charge of $85.00 per man per hour, or fraction thereof, minimum charge of $300.00 per man per day. Such charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.


  2. Time shall be computed from the time carrier departs service center until its return.


  3. The carrier is not obligated to furnish pickup or delivery service on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or after hours, even though they may be requested on the bill of lading.


  4. Charges must be either paid by the party requesting the service or guaranteed to the satisfaction of the carrier before pickup or delivery will be made.


  5. If multiple deliveries or pick-ups are performed at one time, the charge will be based on the total weight of all shipments and only one minimum charge may apply.
NOTE A: Non Business Hours are between 10:00 p.m. & 6:00 a.m.
