- Shipments picked up at, or delivered to, private residences or camps (other than military) will be assessed a charge of $5.50 per 100 pounds, subject to a minimum charge of $80.00 per shipment, and a maximum charge of $400.00 per shipment or $400.00 per vehicle if more than one vehicle is used to transport shipment.
- The charges provided in this item will apply separately for pick up and delivery and will be in addition to all other applicable charges. The party responsible for the freight charges shall also be responsible for the charges accrued under this item, except charges on shipments moving on government Bills of Lading will be collected from U.S. Government.
- Inside pick up or delivery, when requested at the location subject to this item, will be included in the charges listed herein and will be in lieu of Item 566 and Item 647-1 of the tariff (Handling Freight Not Adjacent to the Vehicle.)
- Residential Delivery service is only to the inside of door and does not include assembling, packing, unpacking, dismantling, sorting, set-up, or removal.
NOTE A: The term "Private Residences" shall apply to the entire premises on which a dwelling for living is located, except will not apply to that portion of the premises where commercial or business activity is conducted that involves the sale of merchandise or services to the walk-in public during normal business hours.
