ITEM 647-1 Notification Prior to Delivery

PART 1: On shipments, upon which charges are based on less than 20,000 pounds, including minimum charges, a charge of $32.00 (NOTE) per shipment will be assessed when the carrier is required by notation on the bill of lading to give telephone or written notice of arrival, or to schedule a delivery appointment no later than the next business day after the shipment is available for delivery. NOTE A: The party responsible for freight charges shall also be responsible for the charges accrued under this item.
