Classification of Undescribed Commodities If a shipment is inadvertently accepted without a commodity description, the carrier will make an attempt to ascertain and apply the appropriate class. If no description, class or pcf has been provided on the bol the following logic will be applied to the undescribed commodity. The pallet will be assumed to be 64 cubic feet. The class will base on the pcf that assumption provides.
