- On shipments that require a forklift service and the consignee does not furnish this service, the carrier will endeavor to arrange for such fork-lift service and will charge the consignor or consignee, as the case may be, requiring such service, an additional charge of $2.25 per 100 pounds, minimum charge of $35.00 and a maximum charge of $150.50 will be assessed upon the actual weight of the shipment or shipments for which such service is rendered at one time.
- The charges for this service shall be paid by the party for whom the service is performed or guaranteed by the shipper. Carrier is not obligated to perform such service when suitable vehicles equipped with such devices and operators are not available. Service will only be rendered at such locations as are safe and accessible to the vehicles.
- If multiple deliveries or pick-ups are performed at one time, the charge will be based on the total weight of all shipments and only one minimum charge may apply.
