Saia Relocates Into Larger Roanoke, VA Terminal

Roanoke, VA -- Due to growth in the market, Saia Motor Freight will move into a larger terminal facility on Monday, September 18 at a new location -- 2211 Winston Avenue in Roanoke. The phone number for the sales department is 540-345-8235 and the fax number is 540-345-8378.

Wanda Wise, who has been in the transportation industry for 15 years, has been named sales representative for the terminal, which completes Saia's coverage of the Southern Virginia Region. Saia's other Virginia terminals include Richmond and Norfolk. Sales manager for the region is Steve Eglowstein and Tim Patterson is regional manager.

"The move into this terminal is a milestone for us," said Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service Sally Buchholz. "With this terminal, Saia offers 100 percent coverage of the Southern Virginia market and provides one-day service to the Carolinas and to Atlanta. Two-day service is provided to Tennessee, Georgia (except for Atlanta), Alabama (except for Mobile), Northern Florida, portions of Louisiana, and Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston in Texas," said Buchholz.
